THE TEMPTRESS

The Temptress was completed on August 12, 2015, acrylic on hardwood, 36”x 48” with an 1 1/2 cradle.

This is her story…Ma'at is the goddess of truth, justice and harmony.
She is also daughter of the sun god Ra. Not as well known is her love of the occasional bejeweled headdress.

In a couple of these shots you can see the BLUE painters tape I use to mask off area of the hardwood panel that I don’t want to affect. You can also see some of my reference work. What I try to do with my paintings is to closely mimic the digital work the painting is derived from, so a very tight pencil/graphite is done on the sized board. If you look at the photo with the chair you will see my drawing table, Because I don't use a easel, this table easily configures to any shape I need.

WARRIORS

This is their story…The Young Dead Rabbits are a feisty clan of warriors.
They have been caught uptown while attending a circus performance.
Far from home they will need all their warrior courage and with StarClan's help...
fight their way back to Four Points through the rival clans.

Eat Mor Chickin

This is her story…Cleopatra Babs raises a unique species of chicken,
“Babs Babies” she calls them, have an aptitude for early European geography
and have been known to scratch out intricate maps with place names, rivers as well as topographical features.

of the fractal expressionism movement. Born into influence and privilege saw him
educated at the best feline over-schools, UNTIL radical ideas moved him to the artistic underground.

Think Big I

This is his story…Bansky Longpelt is the pseudonymous for the England-based feline graffiti artist,
political activist, film director, and painter. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams
combine dark humor with a distinctive stenciling technique.

The top left shows initial progress of the graphic drawing and red paint (December 18, 2015). By December 21st, I reached the stage shown on top right. Middle right shows the state of things the same day I had taken my grand kids to Star Wars. Middle left shows the painting at the Clayton Fine Art Gallery resting against my wall. To Serve Dog

This is the story…Before the roll-back of the anti-dog laws,
the country was full of dangerous attitudes, mainly from the conservative right.
The Tea & Milk Party was well known for their attack posters, with the "To Serve Dog" series being their most infamous.

Mysterious Bowler

This is his story…René Morningfur was always a little odd.
As a young apprentice he excelled in the traditional painting disciplines,
BUT recently, with the explosion of the surrealism movement, his work achieved a deeper dimension.
This is his self-portrait called "The Mysterious Bowler".

Boy’s Toys

This painting was was completed on December 8, 2015, 36”x 48” acrylic on hardwood with an 1 1/2” cradle.

This is his story…Little "Ace" is the oldest son of the famous archaeologist
team of Victoria and Basil, better known as the Mousespeakers. All the so called "Boy's Toys"
shown are in fact prized relics from the Lower Manhattan dig of '04.
