angel of the nile

The Angel of the Nile was completed on December 31, 2017. Acrylic on hardwood, 36”x 36” with an 1 1/2” cradle.
One of a kind, no prints.

This is the story…Not widely covered in today’s histories were the “Angels of the Nile”.
Said to be protectors to the Tribes of Israel; they assisted in the background with plague ideas,
mystic mayhem and generally fomenting dissent against their Egyptian overlords.

This is his story…Frankie "the glove" takes his position, nervous yet hopeful, his time has arrived.
The picture called BELIEVE stands for seasonal rebirth and the immortally of youth.
Spring training's idyllic land of hope and dreams has begun.

Marcel’s Painting

This painting was was completed on June 25, 2018, 36”x 36”, acrylic on hardwood with an 1 1/2” cradle.
One of a kind, no prints.
(this painting has been redone, and is listed in it’s current form under 2019 paintings)

This is his story…The opening decades of the twentieth century found Marcel
exploring the fractal mysteries inherent in the expressionist movement.
Huge, complex creations that often took months to complete and pushed him to the brink of mental
clarity OR insanity, as certain biographers have charged.
